Review: We Bare Bears “Nom Nom’s Entourage”

Internet celebrities Nom Nom and Andrew are in a harsh battle as to whom is the bigger deal. This battle eventually draws in the bears who join up with Nom Nom as his new entourage. At first, Nom Nom really just tries to use the bears for personal gain, but after a while everyone indeed becomes friends.

One night, everyone decides to go to the club to drop some dance, when Andrew shows up and a big insult battle between the bears and Andrew’s friends goes down. After some shade is thrown on both sides, the battle gets taken outside, but Nom Nom uses this to his advantage and finally embarrasses Andy and gets it recorded for his page. For their efforts, the bears minus Nom Nom get a ride home, but maybe Nom Nom isn’t exactly heartless after all?

Our Take

You know what I just realized? This show doesn’t have any black bears. I’m from NJ and we have black bears, you would think this show would have them too. In any case, Patton Oswalt returns as the voice of Nom Nom and of course is a delight. The whole episode was great. The bears throwing down insults, especially while Pan-Pan is wearing Kanye glasses. I think I would’ve liked to have seen a moral to the story that didn’t involve bullying and embarrassing somebody just to look good online, but overall a well done episode.
