Review: Wander Over Yonder “The Cartoon ; The Bot”
“The Cartoon
The Watch Dogs produce a cartoon featuring Hater and Wander eventually becoming bff’s in the style of He-Man. Really, the whole thing requires watching, and don’t be surprised if you don’t have a fucking clue as to what you just watched. The intended audience, aka Dominator, prefers The Mystery Ship.
Our Take
How about THIS event? An 80s inspired He-Man cartoon interwoven with Wander Over Yonder? Wander’s a Looney Tunes character, and all day Sylvia is Mr. Ed. Pretty hilarious bit, and it’s gonna be hard to top. How do you even do a second episode?? Well…

The Bot”
Dominator sends a robot scout to look for future planets to dominate. The robot comes across Sylvia, Wander, and a bunch of people on a rather nice locale, but crash lands when it gets to close. Wander finds it, and decides to have a good time with it and show it around town. Eventually, Sylvia finds out and convinces Wander to return the Bot back to Dominator’s. At first, the Bot is willing to divulge everything it found out about the planet, but instead it deletes its files after it remembers all the fun it had with Wander. Dominator destroys the Bot, but she doesn’t destroy memories.
Our Take
As over-the-top as the other episode was, this one showed the most heart that this franchise has ever shown. Seriously, if you don’t shed a tear at the end featuring the robot looking at his picture of Wander, you have no soul. Dominator is just plain ruthless, and while she shows signs of a human being, really, you just want to slap her in the mouth.
