Review: Cyanide & Happiness “Too Many Wars”
Spoilers Below
It’s “World War Too” and we come to find out that at first war is really just a front for guys wanting to get away from their wives until…they show up! Well, now we’ve got a fight on our hands, but when it comes to chasing Hitler it plays out like classic episodes of Looney Tunes. And just like the Roadrunner, Hitler doesn’t die…unless if it’s because of his own undoing.
Our Take
I’m starting to like how these newer episodes are produced where instead of just tiny threads keeping episodes together, we get something that is a bit more congealed. We saw this with episode four and that rings true with the fifth episode. Loved the Hitler chase bit because as mentioned it featured a lot of classic comedy archetypes like from British TV, Looney Tunes, and more. There’s not many that can make fun of war, even South Park really hasn’t gone in this territory since the movie, but these guys pull it off.
