Review: Total Drama: The Ridonculous Race “Maori or Less”

Spoilers Below

We are down to Β the final nine times, but distractions are everywhere for everyone. The sisters are dealing with a possible love interest that threatens to split them up, Junior is trying everything to spur his dad’s teachings, and Devon just seems to have a bad attitude.

Everyone makes it up a mountain on trains, and now we have to get through the next challenge. Junior and his dad need to settle that they aren’t cool together, Noah and Emma could be a potential team down the stretch, and one of the other teams are already done. Everyone finishes, and the other potential alliances seem to come to pass.

Our Take

We have some catching up to do while the show is on a different time. In any case, we’re just getting settled into the the different teams and what everyone’s conflicts are. The most interesting so far is the dad and the Justin Bieber look-alike kid, but really the concept is rather played out, and I think this Bieber-look alike is past his prime. Overall, there was some goofy moments, but any comical relevance is interrupted by cliched punch lines and arcs that don’t make any sense.
