Ratings Are In 1/13/15: Toons are down for FOX
Spoilers Below
My Cowboys got knocked out of the NFL Playoffs last weekend in horrible fashion, so I’m extra pissed off that I don’t have any new episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, or Bob’s Burgers to help heal my wounds this upcoming weekend. However, it looks as though we are getting a glimpse of post-football ratings all together on FOX.
According to Deadline:
After a Simpsons repeat, it was a highly anticipated original The Simpsons (2.0/5) last night at 8 PM. Penned by Judd Apatow as a spec script almost a quarter of a century ago and with an on-air tribute to the victims of the shooting at French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, last night’s episode of the animated series was down 57% from last week’s NFL led-in show.
Up a slight 5% from its November 30 show,Family Guy (2.0/5) was down 28% from last week. Up 60% from its last original on November 30 without a NFL lead-in, Bob’s Burgers (1.6/4) was down 19% from last week.
As mentioned, no new eps this weekend, but there are plenty of cartoons on. Disney XD, Adult Swim, and more are all checking in, so make sure you do too on Sunday when we post full previews of everything that’s on!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
