Artist Serves Up Your Deepest, Darkest Fears as Comics

DDF2

Do you have any deep, dark fears? You know, the kind of irrational things we’re afraid of that likely have been ingrained into our minds since childhood? I, for one, used to fear tripping and knocking all my teeth out on the pavement. (For the record, this isn’t entirely far-fetched & random, as my mother recently informed me that as a three-year-old I tripped & landed teeth-first on a set of metal steps, which almost immediately turned my gums jet black. True story.)

Anyway, if you’d like to revisit any of these horrors, and pick up some new ones, then animator Fran Krause has the comics for you. Entitled “Deep Dark Fears,” these cartoons illustrate some of the wildest, yet amusingly-creative worries one might possess.
