Watch Sammy Hagar talk up his ‘Simpsons’ guest spot
Sammy Hagar is set to guest star on an all-new episode of The Simpsons airing this Sunday Night on FOX @ 8 pm ET/PT. The episode is entitled ”Covercraft” and in it a midlife crisis leads Homer to pick up the bass guitar and join other Springfield fathers in a cover band that becomes a springboard for an unlikely breakout performer.
Ex-Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar is set to guest-star as himself during the episode, and Rolling Stone got an exclusive clip that showcases Hagar behind the scenes recording his lines and some of the finished product.
Check back in Monday morning to see if we even liked the episode, as we plan to be thorough, unbiased, and drunk on Cabo Wabo.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
