Simon Cowell to bring back ‘Betty Boop’ for new movie

For those that don’t know, Simon Cowell LOVES cartoons. He affectionately has admitted to making sure to wake up early Saturday mornings to watch Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, and others. Well, now it looks like Simon is looking to get into the cartoon production business as IGN.com is reporting that Simon’s Syco Entertainment and Animal Logic Entertainment have announced that they are teaming up with Fleischer Studios to produce a Betty Boop movie.
No word as to when we will get to actually see the movie or how far along we are on with production, but we do know that it’s going to be a live-action/animation type deal ala Ted, however it will be interesting to see if the film will definitely accentuate the sexual icon’s earlier efforts, or if we are going to get a more toned down approach.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
