20th Century FOX is at LEAST partly if not all responsible for the animated television that happens on Sunday Nights for FOX and one of the reasons why it’s such a big business for the company is that the revenue that can come in from ONE hit animated series is pretty ridiculous and as such is often cultivated not only here in America, but all over the world. Brands such as Family Guy and The Simpsons aren’t just hugely popular here, but are international opportunities for the distribution of merchandise, content, and other forms of licensing.

According to Deadline.com, 20th Century FOX has appointed a new SVP of Worldwide Marketing. His name is Greg Drebin and although he is based in Los Angeles, he will be responsible for managing all global marketing initiatives and activities and will oversee international marketing, publicity, creative services and corporate communications for the worldwide marketing group.

His purview will cover 20th Century Fox Television, Fox 21, Fox Television Studios, FX Productions, and Fox Filmed Entertainment’s four feature film units.

Basically, this guy helps make sure those aforementioned brands are getting the attention they deserve and are constantly picked up for renewal in all parts of the world.
