Reddit AMA Recap: Robot Chicken producers

The crew at Stoopid Buddy Studios have a whole heck of a lot going on as of late. From producing the Friendship All-Stars web series, to taking part in the Adult Swim pilots program with Ubermansion, to putting together the upcoming season of Robot Chicken, these guys have a lot on their plate. Thankfully, big time producers John Harvantine IV, Eric Towner, and Matt Senreich had time to do up a Reddit AMA where they chatted a bit about their projects and more importantly noted that Seth Green carries a decent package. Don’t believe me?  A user named ‘TotallyNotSethGreen’ asked:

I heard that Seth Green is actually highly intelligent and articulate, has a very warm personality, and is surprising good in the sack. Any truth to the rumors?

And with all of Stoopid confirming this, you knew this AMA was going to get freaky, because there was NO way that was Seth Green…nope…none. *wink Any who we actually did get some new anecdotes about the various projects and I was certainly happy when someone asked about working with the great Bryan Cranston on the Ubermansion pilot:

This is Towner: Everyone should watch our pilot and VOTE!Something tells me that we are getting a good idea on who the winner is for the pilots contest. I actually know of at least ONE of the pilots that got picked up by Adult Swim, but I think this one is close, too. Sounds like Matt and the crew are STILL working with Bryan which could mean more Uber on the way.How about a cool list of some of Matt Senreich’s favorite guest stars on Robot Chicken?

This is Matt: For me, it’s the classics. It was Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise. Or Don Knotts. Or Pat Morita. Those are the ones that get me tongue tied. Oh…and Sung Kang from Fast & the Furious is coming in. I’m geeking out to meet him!!! FF6 was the lead in to Tokyo Drift!!! Crazy continuity! Must talk to him about it!!!!

One more really interesting note was when someone asked about the future of Robot Chicken/Star Wars. Well, we kinda know, but evidently the producers haven’t even asked Disney yet since the buy. I would think the legal paperwork alone would make this thing a nightmare, and if I’m the producers of Robot Chicken, maybe I’m switching to a full-blown Aliens/ Robot Chicken special.
