New trailer for ‘The Awesomes’ post SDCC 2013
On hand at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend was Seth Meyers, Michael Shoemaker, and the cast and crew of The Awesomes, the new Hulu series being produced by Bento Box that is set to premier July 25th on XBOX Live/Hulu accounts or August 1st for everyone else. A new tidbit announced is that not one but TWO episodes will premier on the first which is doubly as awesome. Deadline.com was able to get the trailer post Con and you can see it after the jump! Along with Seth voicing a character, the cast includes Judd Winnick, Bobby Moynihan, Josh Meyers, Keenan Thompson, Taran Killam and Ike Barinholtz.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
