RATINGS ARE IN: “CLEVELAND SHOW NOT PRODUCING NEW EPISODES”
As you know FOX did a bunch of shuffling this past weekend of its AniDom lineup putting TWO new episodes of Cleveland Show, a rerun of Family Guy, and capped off with a new Bob’s Burgers. Well, I think Deadline.com may have confirmed what we all kind of know…Cleveland Show is coming to an end:
With three of its animated series posting gains, Fox tied CBS for No.1 on the night in 18-49. The Cleveland Show (1.5/5), which is not producing new episodes, was up 36% from its last original two weeks ago, The Simpsons(2.3/6) was up 15% and The Cleveland Show (1.9/5) was up 6%. Following a Family Guy repeat, Bob’s Burgers (1.7) was down 11% from American Dad‘s episode in the time slot two weeks ago when it followed an original Family Guy.
Typically, it takes like nine months to make one episode of a hand drawn animated series like Cleveland, so with Deadline reporting no new episodes are being produced, well it isn’t a good sign.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
