Ratings Are In: AniDom down but Family Guy still strong
Its the second week in a row that Family Guy is pretty much carrying the AniDom lineup according to Deadline.com, but despite a bunch of guest stars both episodes of The Cleveland Show had relatively week numbers, and something tells me the fans of Bob’s really don’t like the 9:30pm time slot.
Fox’s Sunday Animation block kicked off with a Bob’s Burgers (0.7/2) encore followed by a new The Cleveland Show (1.2/4), which tumbled 25% down from its last original on March 3 in that slot. Then it was a new The Simpsons (2.1/6), which slipped 5% from last week, and another new The Cleveland Show (1.8/5), which was flat with its March 10 show. The highest rated show among the 18-49s for the second week in a row, Family Guy (2.3/6) was down 15% from last week and a new Bob’s Burgers (1.6/4), which fell 11% from its March 10 airing.
To make matters worse, next week we have a bunch of reruns, but with new Bob’s back at its normal time slot followed by new episodes of Family Guy and American Dad, it won’t be all bad. I wish they’d post up the Christmas episode of American Dad…

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
