RATINGS ARE IN FOR 12/9/12: BOBS BURGERS FOX POSTS DOUBLE-DIGIT GAINS
The ratings are in and pretty much every show not-named Family Guy was up in the ratings this past Sunday Night, including Bob’s Burgers which posted a 17% gain from the previous new episode according to Deadline.com. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that The Simpsons didn’t have a rerun either, but hey no matter how you get it as long as you do, right? Speaking of The Simpsons, FOX’s longest-running animated series was the top-rated show of the night for Animation Domination and probably well-deserved due to the fact that it was very good. Here are the rest of the numbers from the same article:
Fox also had football with NFL Football (6.1/17) which overran into The OT (4.3/11). Then it was the network’s usual Sunday animation block with all new episodes: The Simpsons (3.4/9) was up 3% from the last original two weeks ago,Bob’s Burgers (2.1/5) bounced up 17% from last week, Family Guy (2.8/7) ws down 3% from two weeks ago and American Dad (2.2/5) was up 5% from last week.
What is somewhat surprising is the drop off for Family Guy, but to be honest the episode wasn’t all that great. The Cleveland Show returns this Sunday Night, so it will be interesting to see how that show stacks up next week.
