JUDD APATOW WRITTEN EPISODE SET TO AIR ON NEXT SEASON’S INSTALLMENT OF ‘THE SIMPSONS’
Greatest sports movie ever made??? Celtic Pride. Done. NO argument. Since then Judd Apatow has written some classic films that helped launched now household names. Films like Cable Guy, 40 Year Old Virgin, Funny People, and Walk Hard are favorites among my pile of movies so when I watched this interview with Conan O’Brien and Judd Apatow, I was delighted to hear that Judd had written a spec script for The Simpsons 20 some years ago and its now set to air next season! Obviously this isn’t the first time that Judd has written for an animated series as he was a staff writer on The Critic oh so long ago, to much fan fare. There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
