Sipping with the Enemy
After having to purchase endless amounts of espresso to get the machine working, Dr. Doof invents a coolinator that he intended to zap himself with to make him cool. So of course, he brings it to the hippest coffee restaurant in town and ends up zapping a bunch of people but throughout the whole ordeal, Perry the Platypus is there trying to block the Doc’s line of sight so that he doesn’t find out about Monty Monogram and Vanessa’s coffee date.
Phineas and Ferb meanwhile, decide to put on a magic show but the only magic we really get to see is the stuff going on between Monty and Vanessa who learn that despite their differences they still have a mutual appreciation for each other.
Tri-State Treasure: Boot of Secrets
Who would’ve thought that the antique business was so hardcore? In any case, Phineas and Ferb help their dad traverse into the dark cavernous underworlds of Danville in search of rare antiques but of course Worthington is there to try and muck it up for them. After destroying the ancient tomb, Lawrence actually gets to make off with a good amount of antiques but Worthington makes it out with the rarest one of them all. That is until Phineas and Ferb get a bunch of “otherwordly” backup that gets recorded and entered into a local film festival.
Dr Doof makes himself appear to be 14 years old and films a video probably hidden with subliminal messaging so that Danville will be under his control. However, despite his hard work, his video isn’t nearly as good as one made by Phineas, Lawrence, and Ferb featuring awesome special effects. JURASSIC PARK!!
This week’s episodes of Phineas and Ferb were really great due to the fact that they weren’t your standard fare. “Sipping with the Enemy” took place mostly at a coffee shop providing a fresh setting for Doof and Perry’s battles but also providing more light on the Monty and Vanessa relationship. Also, a magic show being put on by Phineas and Ferb seems like smaller fair then what they are normally up to.
Tri-State Treasure I really liked because it almost had like a Barter Kings or Storage Wars feel to it mixed with a Phineas and Ferb episode that again was quite a bit different. I always love seeing Lawrence in the plot devices so that’s always a welcome change, and it more or less took a back seat to Doof’s plot which seemed like it was over before it even began. Oh yea, and JURASSIC PARK!!
I like these change of pace type episodes, so here is hoping we get more of this!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
