TBS Picks Up “The Cops” Animated Series From Albert Brooks/Louis C.K.
This was a wild finish.
I gotta tell ya, FX Networks is losing out on picking up original comedies as of late. A few months ago, Final Space came down to FX and TBS with the producers opting for the latter, and now TBS has taken another animated comedy from FX, this one called The Cops.
This was the Albert Brooks/Louis CK series being produced by Starburns Industries and is now being executive produced by King of the Hill alum Greg Daniels. TBS has ordered 10 episodes and is slated to air in 2018.
The Cops follows Al (Brooks) and Lou (C.K.), two Los Angeles patrolmen trying their best to protect and serve, sometimes failing at both. Ride with them as they patrol one of the biggest cities in the world, then go home with them and be glad you’re not married to either.
The two main characters will be voiced by the aforementioned Brooks/Louis CK (voices “Lou”). The Cops joins Tarantula, American Dad!, and Final Space as TBS is starting to outshine other cable nets in this space and that’s even whence compared to sister network Adult Swim.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
