Bordertown being pushed til FOX Fall 2015?
Yesterday, Bento Box Animation posted up a status update announcing that the last color screening of their upcoming new series Bordertown had commenced and even put a nice little update as to the whereabouts of FOX’s upcoming series.
”Can’t wait for this show to air in the fall on FOX!”
Bordertown was originally slated to air Spring of 2015, and I actually think that helps explain the month-long absence of any new cartoons for about a month, but obviously that doesn’t look to be happening. Instead, this latest Fall start update from Bento is, I think, the best we’re going to get for the time being.
Another question has to be if this IS when Bordertown is going to premier, then is FOX just going to bring back Animation Domination? With a lineup that’s 4/5s cartoons, it makes no sense to keep Brooklyn 99 on Sunday Nights, as a matter of fact, I’m thinking a Thursday Night slot to save Backstrom’s ass would do.
In the meantime, all we have for new cartoons on FOX, is a new episode of Bob’s Burgers airing this Sunday Night on FOX @ 7:30 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
