Venture Bros News and Tidbits-rundown and the Shirt Club making a return

So on Jackson Publick’s Livejournal he had an interesting update on what has been going on including confirmation from the other day about the screenings that are being setup in Brooklyn that will include the Season 4 Finale and Season 5 one hour premier episodes of Venture Bros which is set to air on June 2nd. Another note he had is that yes, the famed Shirt Club is on the way:

Not much to report, as I am holed up in an L.A. motel room at the moment (where I did happen to catch that VB promo on TV last night). I know we’re working out some kind of screening or series of screenings with the Alamo Drafthouse theater chain, but don’t yet know which cities they’ll happen in or what night(s). I only know that our intrepid sound engineer, Dave Paterson, is currently at work remixing both the season 4 finale and the season 5 premiere episodes for optimum wham-bam theatrical sound quality for the occasion, which I look forward to hearing upon my return to Gotham. As for Shirt Club–that’s gonna happen. The designs are all done, they’re super-cool, and we’re working out the logistical details now.

Yea so what Jackson is probably saying is, are they gonna do the merch old-school on Astrobase Go’s site or do they have something else in mind?? You forget its been a number of years since the guys have had new episodes, but with other distro channels the Venture Bros., has grown as a viable merch brand one in which could be taken advantage of. And yes, Doc and Jack….TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME! Seriously, my bunghole is in the air, feel free to fill it with awesomeness.

Adult Swim recently posted up a history of Venture Bros., as done by Gary. The clip proved to be somewhat helpful to a guy like me who typically watches just brand new episodes of things versus reruns and as a result I might have forgotten some important plot points since the Season 4 Finale last aired brand new (which was like November 2010!)
