Toonami Announces One-Punch Man Season Two Marathon Ahead Of Christmas
Original premieres on Toonami are taking a break for the last two weeks of the month in favor of marathons which is just fine for us because we can use the break. On December 21st, a One-Punch Man Season Two marathon will kick off at 11 pm with episode 13 and will end at 330 am ET/PT with episode 22 followed by a random episode of Attack on Titan just to finish things off, only on Adult Swim, check your local listings.
In One-Punch Man, Saitama started out being a hero just for fun. After three years of “special” training, he became so powerful that he can defeat opponents with a single punch. Now, alongside Genos, his faithful cyborg disciple, Saitama is ready to begin his official duties as a professional hero working with the Hero Association. However, the frequency of monster appearances is surging and it increasingly appears as if the Great Seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth’s doom is coming true. In the midst of this crisis, the “hero hunter” Garou makes his own appearance.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
