This Week In Obituaries: RIP to the Mayor of Quahog Adam West

Multiple outlets are reporting the passing of the legendary Adam West aka the Mayor of Family Guy. West passed away at the age of 88 after a battle with leukemia. The actor played the role of Batman and would later see a career renaissance as a well-known voice actor that would appear not only in Family Guy as the silly goof “Mayor West” but also Fairly OddParents, Robot Chicken, and numerous other series.

From a personal standpoint, Adam was a frequent visitor in numerous Comic Cons signing autographs for his legions of fans, both old and new. The man I knew was a very humble and sweet man that I will forever miss.
