SON OF LATE-JIM HENSON TO HELM “THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS”

That’s right, Deadline.com is reporting that Brian Henson(son of the immortal Jim Henson) is getting set to direct Katherine Heigl in The Happytime Murders” which according to the article is a film that:

“Takes place in a world where puppets and humans live together, but the puppets are viewed as second-class citizens. When the puppet cast of an 1980s kids TV show gets murdered one by one, a disgraced detective-turned-private eye puppet takes on the case.”

And just in case you don’t think Muppet-inspired evilness can’t occur, I give you this creepy clip from Hulu.com of a little show called Angel with the episode “Smile Time”.
