Smiling Friends: Adult Swim Announces Season Two Premiere
Like clockwork Adult Swim loves to partake on jokes and gags for April Fool’s Day. Typically these pranks happen spontaneously and with no real warning, but that all seems to be changing this year because the network has just announced that the second season of Smiling Friends is due to premiere next Sunday Night @ midnight ET/PT, only on Adult Swim.
Now, will the network drop the weekly episodes or is the bit we’re getting the entire second season dropping at once like they did with the show’s first season (minus the premiere episode which was also part of an April Fool’s Day marathon and the season one finale)?
In the meantime check out the teaser below.

Synopsis:
Smiling Friends follows the employees of a small company dedicated to bringing happiness to a bizarre yet colorful world. The company consists of cynical Charlie and star employee Pim, each tasked with out-calls to cheer people up. There’s also meticulous Allan who keeps things in order, mysterious Glep, and the unpredictable billionaire Boss who founded the company.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
