SETH MACFARLANE(@SETHMACFARLANE) PUTS ‘THE FLINTSTONES’ (@FlintstonesFOX) ON HOLD

And are you really that surprised? If you remember we reported a while ago that Seth was at SXSW and during the interview he was asked about the Flintstones reboot and that he mentioned he was still fucking around with the pilot at the script stage. THE SCRIPT STAGE! You know how long even it would take to do the first episode even if he started animating TOMORROW? Like 10 months!! If we are lucky we aren’t seeing this thing til 2014, I guarantee that. Seth is one of the hardest working people out there and as the article mentions he’s working on three animated series(exec producing AND the majority of the voices), finishing up Ted,  and oh yea he’s doing the Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey documentary series. NO fucking chance was this pilot gonna be done and done right, and as such I think the right decision was made here. What do you think?
