Rooster Teeth News: “Red vs Blue” Season 16 Gets Start Date; “Nomad of Nowhere” Gets New Teaser

These guys are at SXSW all this weekend!

Late yesterday, director Joe Nicolosi announced that Red vs Blue Season 16 will stream for RT First members on April 15th with 15 or 16 episodes planned for the duration of the season with longer runtimes promised for the show that will total a longer season overall by the time we get to the end.

Synopsis:

Red vs. Blue (stylized as redvsblue), often abbreviated as RvB, is an American comic science fiction web television series created by Burnie Burns with his production company Rooster Teeth. The show is distributed through Rooster Teeth’s website, as well as on DVD, Blu-ray, and more recently syndicated on the El Rey Network, Netflix and its own YouTube channel. The series initially centers on two opposing teams of soldiers fighting a civil war in the middle of a desolate box canyon (Blood Gulch), in a parody of first-person shooter video games, military life, and science fiction films.

In other Rooster Teeth news, the streaming service has released a brand-new teaser for Nomad of Nowhere set to premiere on March 16th for RT First members.

Rooster Teeth has described the series as a western/fantasy mash-up about a mysterious nomad traversing a western wasteland that hasn’t seen magic in 100 years. But now there’s a price on his head, and he’s gonna have to avoid bounty hunters and captors who all want to score big when they bring in the world’s last magical being. Think of it as two-parts Samurai Jack and True Grit with just a dash of The Lord of the Rings.
