Review: The Loud House “Fright Bite”
Overview
When a vampire moves into Royal Woods, Lucy must convince him to turn people from the Mortician’s Club into vampires…
Our Take
In possibly one of the few times of this show, we now have an episode devoted to a different character who isn’t Lincoln. but the title implies, much of the humor of this obligatory Halloween special is almost a straight-up parody to the 80’s horror classic “Fright Night” Except, unlike that film where the main character Charlie is paranoid and wants to expose that his new neighbor is a vampire. It’s a bit backward this time around, with Lucy’s circle of goth friends wanting to be vampires themselves.
Of course with the twist at the end, part of me saw it coming a mile away what was really going on. But at the very least the humor was on-point and the comedic twist at the end began to make actual sense.
Overall a passable and fun Halloween episode. Much to my shock this was surprisingly shorter in terms of running time, but I’m surprised it wasn’t completely devoted to a half-hour like most specials usually are…

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
