Review: SpongeBob SquarePants “Knock Knock, Who’s There”
Overview
SpongeBob watches Mr. Krabs’ house while he’s away and takes extreme measures to make sure no one breaks in…
Our Take
This was mostly a series of comedic set-pieces built around Spongebob and Patrick house-sitting Mr.Krabs’ place and for better or worse, Spongebob is a little too good at his job…
Of course, the real story kinda picks up when Mr.Krabs Returns from a convention where nothing completely went his way. Arguably this would’ve been a much shorter episode of he didn’t forget his keys. And amidst the wackiness and chaos of the set pieces, you learn something new about Patrick’s physiology.
Overall a short and simple episode that with jokes that heavily relied on a series of misunderstandings and miscommunications. Thankfully, the running works as the jokes don’t overstay its welcome and embraces the wackiness of its scenarios as a Spongebob show should.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
