“Books Fix Everything”

Ren is wondering how to make a cake, and Oobleck comes in to suggest a cookbook. He continues to suggest books to other people, even when they don’t really need one, because ‘books fix everything’. Then Ruby comes in with the copy of the Necronomicon, and accidentally unleashes its contents upon the world.

“Mysterious Red Button”

A mysterious red button has appeared in the middle of the forest. It can do all sorts of things, from turning off the sun, making clones, dropping objects on people, and opening up trapdoors. When Sun goes to press it, whatever happens, is enough to end the episode.

The humor this time is okay. Oobleck suggesting books, even for cures that aren’t easily patched up, like Blake’s trauma, was pretty funny. These shorts don’t usually have extreme humor, but the dissonance in that short was great.
