Spoilers Below

Bob’s car keeps breaking down which changes their movie plans into attending a studio audience for a game show that is hosted by none other then CHUCK! After one of the contestant families pull out of the show, the Belchers sign on in an attempt to win a new minivan. The name of the show is ‘Family Fracas’ with challenges like marble stacks, soup-fly removals,  and finding a yellow ball in a pool of blue balls.  Fortunately, the Belchers won! But, after spinning the prize wheel, they don’t win the van but they get to come back the next episode to win again.

Next episode sees the Belchers win again, but AGAIN no minivan! Weirdly enough, the Belchers keep coming back to win challenges, but they never win the minivan. Bob doesn’t seem to care as he likes rubbing it in Jimmy Pesto’s face from across the street that he keeps winning.  All that trash talk backfires though when the Pestos show up to challenge the Belchers, and this time the champs LOSE giving the Pestos the minivan and causing a ton of embarrassment for Bob. So much so that Bob’s embarrassment becomes a Youtube sensation and Jimmy keeps rubbing it in that he won the minivan. However, something’s fishy in the way Jimmy won and Bob figures out that Chuck helped Pesto win the minivan by helping him cheat at the last challenge. The show producer decides to turn this argument over to a judge show called Pam’s court to let HER settle this matter.

Its very seldom when the antagonists of any one plot loses, so that twist alone made this week’s episode pretty special. But, this show has the Belchers and they were all sorts of funny tonight all the while being wrapped up in a plot surrounded by maybe the best voice cast of the show’s entire run. Thomas Lennon is a genius as ‘Chuck’ and if we can get more of that, there is no reason why his show Gajillionaires doesn’t become a hit when it premiers this fall on Comedy Central. His dialogue and banter is SO good in this one that I sometimes forgot this was a cartoon and instead had the notion he was working off of live action actors. Rob Heubel had an outstanding role as the producer, and he delivered especially whilst working off of Tom. Seeing him ace this one gives me a lot of hope for his portrayal as ‘Grey Diamond‘ when Axe Cop premiers. I’m not saying Rob isn’t funny as a live actor (he’s brilliant), but this was my first chance that I can remember seeing him do voice over. David Herman played such a small role as the announcer, but his delivered lines complete with the Burger puns during the court appearance were classic, but we already knew he was good from Brickleberry. Lastly, Sam Bee continues to show her chops as a hysterical actress as ‘Pam’ following her outstanding performance on Phineas and Ferb.  Dan Mintz delivered a great one-liner as Tina with her threats to Jimmy Jr. like ‘Your ass is grass, and I’m gonna mow it!”. CLASSIC! That’s when she’s at her best, not the focal point, rather just standing back dropping bombs. You also had to love Bob’s verbal jabs with Jimmy, too and throw Louise/Linda/ Gene in all putting in great performances. This family creates fracas better than anyone.
