Olivia Wilde to guest star on ‘Son of Zorn’

I bet THIS took some convincing.

The show hasn’t even started yet, but already it’s got a really great guest star. Such is life for Son of Zorn, the new animated/live-action comedy from the guys that brought you Last Man on Earth. 

According to Entertainment Weekly, Olivia Wilde will guest star on an upcoming episode as an animated character that also happens to be a former flame to Jason Sudeikis’ Zorn. Radiana (Wilde) is summoned by Zorn to be a date to an engagement party hosted by Zorn’s ex-wife Edie and her fiance Craig. Turns out, things get serious between Zorn and Radiana rather quickly, but that may not be a good thing.

Son Of Zorn employs a mix of live-action and animated lead characters. Upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, Zorn (Jason Sudeikis), a fully animated, legendary warrior, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son, Alan (Johnny Pemberton), and ex-wife, Edie (Cheryl Hines), while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life, is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria. Tim Meadows also stars.

Son of Zorn kicks off this Fall on FOX.
