Gundarr is Cancelled
‘Gundarr’ LATEST CANCELLATION VICTIM FROM PULLED FUNDING FROM MONDO MEDIA
First Baman Piderman, and now Gundarr, Mondo Media is pulling funding from some of its big time animated series left and right. That’s right, Gundarr has pretty much been cancelled after around 33 episodes and accruing a whole bunch of views, but co-creators Ted and Corey posted on their Facebook page that the show COULD come back in some form:
“Hey there, Gundarr fans! Ted & Corey here. Just wanted to let all our barbari-awesome fans know that the Klingdar episode is the Season 3 finale & may be the series finale as well. The funding for the show has been cut, so sadly Gundarr, Toddy & the gang will be taking an extended holiday in the Off-Screen Mountains.
We hope that you guys had as much of a wild ride watching Gundarr as we did making it! Keep spreading the Gundarr love, & who knows, maybe he’ll make a triumphant return! Keep your powder dry!”
I was quite surprised to hear of the cancellation as the show was a good time and to prove it you can see our review about it here. Also, which show do you think is getting the axe next from Mondo???
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
