Mark Wahlberg talks Ted 2 in TF4 press rounds

Transformers 4 comes out this weekend featuring Mark Wahlberg in a part that I probably won’t go see until it’s on FX. However, the one good thing about Mark doing press for the upcoming Michael Bay cluster fuck, is that he’s probably going to get a bunch of Ted 2 questions.

Recently, IGN asked about Mark’s return as ”John Bennett” which starts filming next month and the big news that had come out of the interview is that Amanda Seyfried is OFFICIALLY the new love interest for ”John” after a separation that supposedly happens between Mila Kunis’ ”Lori” and ”Bennett”’. Also of note, is that ”Ted” has a much bigger problem than trying to woo over his buddy’s gal. What that bigger problem is? I have no clue. But, you can read the rest of IGN.com’s report here.

To be perfectly honest, I never quite bought the chemistry between Kunis’ and Wahlberg’s characters from the first film, but I’m not sure if Seyfried is gonna fix that. I’m also starting to get a little weirded out with Wahlberg playing opposite all these chicks that are on average 14 years younger than he is in the Ted movies. It’s almost a problem that helped ruin Adam Sandler’s career as he kept playing opposite all of these love interests that are like half of his age and as a result I think it started to irk a lot of his movie-goers. Let’s hope the same doesn’t happen with Ted 2.
