‘LEGO Dimensions’ Game to Include ‘The Simpsons’
Upcoming video game LEGO Dimensions, sold as a standalone game that can be upgraded by purchasing toys to interact with the game world, will include some familiar faces – most notably, The Simpsons.
The game will apparently include three “Fun Packs,” as well as “Team Packs” and “Level Packs” which will include Jurassic World, Scooby Doo, Portal, and The Simpsons.
This should come as no surprise, considering previous LEGO-Simpsons tie-ins like this, this, this, this, and this.
LEGO Dimensions will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on September 27th in the US & Canada, and September 29th in the UK and Europe.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
