‘Legends of Chamberlain Heights’ Definitely Confirmed for Fall….possibly to air after ‘South Park’?

We told you guys ages ago that soul sensation Erykah Badu will be handling music supervisory duties for Comedy Central’s newest animated comedy The Legends of Chamberlain Heights. Well, after months of figuring out when the hell this thing is gonna air, we just got out our answer in this new story from The New Yorker whom recently interviewed Badu where in it we find out that The Legends of Chamberlain Heights is definitely premiering this Fall, with other sources noting that the show could premiere after South Park‘s Season 20 start.

“Legends of Chamberlain Heights” is an urban animated series mixing raucous comedy and social commentary that centers on three high school freshman: Jamal, Grover, and Milk(Hawking voices Jamal and Johnson voices Grover and Milk). The three friends tackle life with some wins and some losses, but failure doesn’t faze them since they’re legends…even if it’s just in their own minds.

Last year, Moonbeam City aired after South Park, and that didn’t work. Fortunately, I think this series has too good of a crew around it whether it’d be in the writing department, production, and others, so this should do better. As a matter of fact, rumors are already swirling that a second season of The Legends of Chamberlain Heights could even be ordered BEFORE the show premieres.
