Its Webs Day! High 5 Toons “Disney Wars”, Simon’s Cat(@simonscat), and Bravest Warriors(@bravestwarriors)

This week in an all new edition of Webs Day, we have new reviews up for High Five Toons, Simon’s Cat, and the highly anticipated debut of Cartoon Hangover ‘s Bravest Warriors. Check it out after the jump!

“Disney Wars” from High 5 Toons.

Disney characters in Star Wars garb? Check. Walt Disney frozen in Carbonite? Check. A heaping spoonful of ironic foreshadowing? Double Check! Disney Wars is hilarious, poignant, and very well done. The length of the video leaves a lot to be desired, but it gets the job done.

“Fetch” by Simon’s Cat.

This video is very family friendly, almost diabetic. The art and animation is simple, which is perfect for the subject matter of this toon. You can’t over trivialize playing fetch as its got a definite “Garfield-Odie” feel to it without overly being focused on lasagna or Mondays. Take this video to your girlfriend so she can say “AW!”then let her wonder about why you’re looking at animated cat vids.

Episode 1 of “Bravest Warriors” from Cartoon Hangover.

This art style looks vaguely familiar as this video comes to us from the same people that made ADVENTURE TIME! I thoroughly enjoyed Bravest Warriors as it’s got all the middle school humor, bright colors, and hilariously drawn characters akin to its Cartoon Network cousin. If Cartoon Hangover continues to come up with content like this, then surely the new animation channel is going to be a force to be reckoned with, VERY soon.
