“Gary And His Demons” Makes UK Landfall For Comedy Central UK

Similar to what it’s American brethren is doing here with BoJack Horseman, Comedy Central UK has picked up the first season of VRV/Mondo’s very good Gary And His Demons to air after South Park. Would it have been just as cool if Comedy Central UK had produced its own animated content instead of licensing agreements? Probably, but Gary And His Demons is a solid pickup nonetheless.

GARY AND HIS DEMONS is an animated comedy about a cantankerous, aging demon slayer who has nothing left to lose. Burdened by his “chosen one” status and backed by a team of specialists he can’t relate to, Gary struggles to keep interest in the Earth-saving duty he never asked for and doesn’t want.

The first season debuted in the States on VRV/Mondo and you can read our review here. In the UK, Comedy Central is airing new episodes weeknights after new episodes of South Park.
