FOX Developing “Prince Wawa” Animated Comedy With Producers Of “Cobra Kai”

Not to be confused with the chain of convenience stores that dot the Eastern United States that serve up delicious Sizzli breakfast sandwiches, but FOX is teaming up with Sony TV, Tim Baltz and Lily Sullivan, and Cobra Kai’s Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg for a new series called Prince Wawa.

According to a report from DeadlinePrince Wawa is a comedy that centers around a naive merman prince, voiced by Baltz, who juggles life between the ocean, the only home he’s ever known, and his new life on land with his human mother in the breathtaking metropolis of Tampa, Florida. So far, only a script commitment has been dealt, but the series joins a host of other animation that is in development like Cocky, Clue, Ocean Villageand a slew of already ordered series like the recently premiered The Great North, Duncanville, Bless The Harts, Housebroken (coming soon), and others.

Animation Domination was supposed to have it’s Winter premiere last week, but was rescheduled thanks to a NASCAR rain delay. More details about that here.
