Event News: NYCC 2021 Adds Animation Panels ; FOX TV Fan Hub ; Jeff Dunham

 

In news that should excite whomever decided to name a bridge after Ned Flanders in Portland Oregon, FOX Entertainment has shared new details about their first free interactive fan event, FOXTV Fan Hub, coming up on September 15th. The four-hour live event kicks off at 6:00 pm ET/3:00 pm PT on September 15th. Fans can register today at FOXTVFanHub.com and the first 150 eligible registered attendees will receive a special gift box. FOX TV Fan Hub will be hosted by Ronen Rubenstein (T.K. Strand on 9-1-1: Lonestar) and includes conversations with stars from other FOX shows including  The Simpsons. Fans can submit questions for the stars at FOXTVFanHub.com and tune in to see if their questions asked live.

Jeff Dunham has announced a LIVE RushTix Event on September 28th at 6pm PT and everyone is invited to come hang out with the famed ventriloquist at his shop. They’ll be answering your questions, showing how ‘stuff’ gets done, and even video chatting with a few lucky fans! New York Comic-Con 2021 is slowly coming into focus.  Amazon Prime Video today announced virtual panels for New York Comic Con’s Metaverse for fan-favorite series and highly anticipated new titles The Legend of Vox Machina.
The Legend of Vox Machina is an animated fantasy-adventure series for adults that follows Vox Machina, a band of misfits with a fondness for boozing and brawling. In a desperate attempt to pay off their mounting bar tab, these unlikely heroes end up on a quest to save the realm of Exandria from dark magical forces. From a sinister necromancer to a powerful curse, the group confronts a variety of obstacles that not only test their skills, but also the strength of their bond. Join the entire cast of Critical Role as they discuss the process of adapting a role-playing game (RPG) campaign into a series for Amazon Prime Video, and share a special sneak peek of footage from the series. The event is happening Friday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. EDT and it will be an in-person live-streamed panel.
Also for NYCC 2021, Funimation will unveil Funimation: Sakura Park, a manifestation of a Japanese-inspired anime fantasy, where guests are invited to kick back and find their zen. Throughout the weekend, attendees are welcome to enjoy branded food trucks, search for hidden easter eggs, one-of-a-kind photo opps, exclusive giveaways, cosplay meetups, and much more. Additionally, Funimation will be hosting a variety of panels including two about the hottest anime titles, My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, with special appearances. On Friday, the English dub voice actors from My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission, the third film of the series coming to US theaters on October 29, will set the stage to discuss one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. Lastly, grab a Saturday ticket aboard the hype train for a look back at the worldwide phenomenon Demon Slayer -Kimtesu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, with appearances from the English dub voice actors from the series and box office-shattering film.
