English Dub Review: Konohana Kitan “Raft Bridge of Dreams”
Dream on.
Overview:
In this episode, we see Ren having problems caused by an abnormally large green egg. Not only does it give her problems, but it does so for everyone near the egg when it comes loose. Oddly enough, the egg forces people to come to terms with unsavory memories and/or their deepest fears. Yuzu makes a comment about the creature inside, saying it reminds her of Baku, the Dream Eater.
Our Take:
It was a really emotional episode. This was thanks, in part, to the weird egg containing the pig-looking creature. Many things about the hot springs inn are explained, which is a big help, considering the more confusing scenes. It was a better episode than expected, and I look forward to the next one.
