Eli Roth’s ‘Chowdaheads’ gets long-awaited premiere
Once upon a time (I guess after his work as an intern on The Howard Stern Show?) resident Bear Jew Eli Roth had developed an animated series for TNT that was supposed to air as interstitials for the now defunct WCW Wrestling. The name of the series was Chowdaheads, and was a co-creation between Noah Benson and Roth and with the power of the internet we are now able to see the never-to-air series in all its glory courtesy of Crypt TV.
Crypt TV promises to bring this to the masses, all eight episodes over the next several weeks. Watch episode one here on Facebook and you can read a longer winded story about it over on Dread Central.
I think it’s pretty hilarious. It’s definitely a throwback to old-school wrestling fans.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
