Disney announces NEW ‘Toy Story’ holiday special coming later this year!

Due to premier on December 2nd @ 8 pm ET/PT on ABC, the cast of Toy Story is set to return in a brand-new holiday special entitled ”Toy Story That Time Forgot”.

The entire cast including Tom Hanks (”Woody”), Tim Allen (”Buzz”), and others are all going to be in play, but it will be the character of ”Trixie” played by Kristen Schaal (Bob’s Burgers, Gravity Falls) that will be the focal point. According to The Wrap of whom actually broke the story,  Bonnie’s toys meet the coolest set of action figures yet, but things take a dangerous turn when they discover these new toys are delusional leading to Trixie trying the save the day.

In the meantime, a special airing of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion is set to premier later this month, so ABC is definitely doing its best to ramp up an animated slate before the year gives out.
