Despite recent cartoon shuffle, FX/FXX’s Bigfoot is still alive
With the recent cancellation of Cassius and Clay, and the other recent announcement regarding the one hour animated pilot with Albert Brooks and Louis C.K., this week was definitely a shuffling the decks type week for FX/FXX. With TCA 2016 just kicking off, there are still questions about other animated pilots that the network was looking at as well as what the hell is going on with Animation Domination Hi-Def which hasn’t aired any new programming since last Summer.
Fortunately, THR DOES seem to note an update on a series that we haven’t heard from in a while, that being the Seth Rogen/Evan Goldberg produced Bigfoot. The publication’s recent article on the aforementioned cancellation still seems to list Bigfoot as being readied for presentation, so that’s a good thing. The bad thing is, it’s been almost three years since this thing has been announced which is officially considered “feet dragging”.
In the meantime, Archer’s Seventh Season is set to premiere probably in March on FXX (for now).
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
