Despite Good Efforts From “South Park” and “Family Guy” This Last Week, “Gridiron Heights” Is Still Tops In NFL Spoofs

Get in the game!

South Park for years has never held back in beating on the NFL, and more specifically Roger Goodell, and Family Guy had a great joke last Sunday Night by accusing the NFL commissioner in being in bed with the Russians. But, for my money, nothing beats Bleacher Reports’ shorts series Gridiron Heights.

Gridiron Heights is usually an under 2-minute shorts series featured on Bleacher Report where producers Craig and Adam Malamut have fun lampooning the NFL, less about NFL politics, more about NFL standings, memes, and social gifs that can be found on social platforms.

Usually, the targets on Gridiron Heights are either the coaches or the players, like comparing Teddy Bridgewater’s downward spiral in the NFL to that of Morgan Freeman’s release from Shawshank, Bill Belichick’s house on Halloween, or sending Blake Bortles to outer spaceand more. I would also imagine, that with the NFL season playoff picture shaping up for the rest of the season, that Bleacher Report’s basketball lampooning, Game of Zones, isn’t too far behind with a fifth season. Oh…what’s that I hear? Ray Allen just got catfished by a dude pretending to be a bunch of women online?
