Spoilers Below

So, the crew is battling the evil beauty pageant murderbots, when the murderbots brains get hacked by the self esteem virus. You know it’s serious when murderbots rip their own faces off. Meanwhile, Danny is is still stuck in his head, trying to save the banana planet to horrific results. As that is happening, the doctors put him in his own murderbot, and saves the day. All is well, until his brain is getting hacked with the self esteem virus as well.

I love the constant pop culture references in this show, as well as the ramped up humor you normally see in an episode of Adventure Time. Penn Ward does this very well. However…

Let’s Take a Trip Down Memory Lane

The crew is taking a look at the past vacations they have taken, and realized they all suck, they blacked out, or didn’t make much sense. So, they do what any normal thinking person would do. They blast it out into orbit.

What has been a constant within the Bravest Warriors line is the main story and the “B” story. The main story is pretty funny, and keeps the flow going well. That is, until they break from the main story to go with the more cutesy “B” story. To me, it drags the comic down much. Seven issues in, and every one thus far is a skip.
