Check Out This ‘Back to the Future’ Clock-tower Scene in LEGO

LEGO BTTF

How many times have you seen the Back to the Future clock-tower scene and thought, “This is fantastic, but it would be much better if it was done using LEGOs”?

Never? Me either. But here it is anyway.

From the talented folks over at Macro Lego Universe, this six-minute-long video is a remarkable shot-for-shot remake of the 1985 movie’s climactic lightning scene, and it doesn’t disappoint – even though it was made completely with tiny plastic figurines.

I would have preferred to see a LEGO reboot of the scenes where Biff & the gang crash into a manure truck, but this will do. Besides, things get tricky when it comes to Biff. I mean, he basically tried to rape Michael J. Fox’s mom in the first film, but we’re supposed to believe that George McFly later hired him to do chores & wash their car? Right, because who wouldn’t want the guy who sexually assaulted you working in your own home? Awkward.
