Review: Regular Show “Cool BroBots”

We spit in the face of those who don’t want to be cool.

A mysterious robot race shows up to the park and supposedly they are here to help. At first, they do seem pretty cool. The robots bring chicken, pizza, and kisses for Pops before he goes to sleep. Rigby and Mordecai aren’t convinced, and after some reconnaissance, they discover that the robots are here to destroy the park’s natural resources and sell them for profit. Nobody believes the two at first, but eventually, another group of space rangers show up and confirm Mordecai and Rigby’s suspicions. A big huge battle ensues that includes a robot Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox, but the park employees, joined by new friends, are able to win out. But, we ain’t coming home yet.

Our Take

You know what’s great about Regular Show? The episodes are feeding right into each other like this thing isn’t just about being in space, the producers are putting you through the paces for a rather rambunctious journey that includes new (and returning?) faces. The epic battle was intense, just like Regular Show always does it, and this episode was probably the funnier of the quarter-hours. But, I really can’t wait for the next episode. Like, I want it to air now. The clip show looked pretty nuts, so get ready.
