‘Steven Universe’ Season Three Gets Start Date and Time

Set to premiere on May 12th @ 7 pm ET/PT, is an all-new season of Steven Universe which kicks off with a five-part “In Too Deep” special. Unfortunately for fans of Sum 41, this Steven Universe special starts with a back-to-back 30 minute premiere on May 12th, with three more parts to follow, presumably at the same time slot.

Steven Universe has already been renewed for two more seasons by Cartoon Network, and really the franchise is becoming the true second-coming of Adventure Time in terms of popularity, but featuring the rich storytelling of Disney XD’s Gravity Falls.

Steven Universe, tells the story of three magical defenders of the planet….and Steven, the proverbial “little brother” to the Crystal Gems — a team of magical guardians of humanity.
