Review: Bob’s Burgers – “Wag The Hog”

FIGHT!

Bob gets a call from his friend, Critter. Critter is in jail and needs Bob to sell his motorcycle to raise the bail money. Reluctantly, Bob agrees to sell the bike. According to Critter, Bob is to sell the bike to Chuck. However, before the transaction can be finished, a man named Bryce steals the motorcycle. Chuck and Bryce fight over the bike and end up breaking the front wheel. Bob suggests they take the bike to the One Eyed Snakes, Critter’s old biker gang, to get the bike fixed. But the Snakes don’t want to fix the bike. They feel neglected by Critter. The Snakes finally agree to fix the bike and get Critter out of jail after Bob tells them how Critter has been trying to go straight to raise his family. Perhaps Critter and the gang can get together during Critter’s free time. You should always make time for your friends, right?

Meanwhile, Linda agreed to babysit Sidecar, Critter’s baby. She was told that he can be difficult to put down for a nap but he turns violent when he doesn’t get one. Confident in her mothering abilities, Linda takes Sidecar to a toddler play area to tire him out. Unfortunately, they stay too long and Sidecar goes nuts. Though he does fall asleep in the end. Needless to say, Linda doesn’t want to babysit him again.

The episode, as a whole, was fairly uneventful. There were a few funny moments but it wasn’t an attention grabbing episode overall. It felt more like a filler episode, even though there isn’t an overarching storyline in the season. I guess they can’t all be winners.
