Review: Mr. Pickles ‘Dead Man’s Curve’
Spoilers Below
We come to find out that Mr. Pickles is terrified of vacuum cleaners and grandpa is getting ready to take FULL advantage all the while Jane is trying to show her husband that being an unemployed mother is more important than he thinks. Eventually, grandpa goes toe to toe with Grandpa, but when the vacuum gets Pickles off, the dog is no longer afraid of the vacuum.
Meanwhile, Tommy builds a soapbox car for an upcoming derby, but is it strong enough to withstand ‘Dead Man’s Curve’? Tommy and Pickles try it, but they end up down a hill and come across an old man who lives off of eating rats, but is strapped in his car. He agrees to help Tommy with the competition in exchange for his release. The guy reunites with his wife only to find out that she’s already on another dude. Tommy decides to help the old geezer clean up so that his wife will take him back. Instead, the guy dresses up only to die of a heart attack. Tommy’s car gets rebuilt and he wins the race thanks to Mr. Pickles.
Mr. Goodman is tasked with filling in for the boss in taking calls, no matter WHO calls. We come to find out that the Boss is pretty much fucking Nicole Bass and she’s not crazy about the Boss’ new assistant.
Mr. Pickles’ control over the rats seemed rather inspired, and both Jane and Mr. Goodman’s respective plots served no purpose. But, the meat and potatoes of this week’s episode worked, and that was the Grandpa/Tommy plot. The ripped faces gag got a tad old, but overall we got an episode that should please the masses. I mean, a dog stuck his dick in the vacuum.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
