GoDaddy Touts Puppet Lady for Super Bowl: Boss Responds, But GoDaddy still sucks ass
http://youtu.be/1my0g_tsU30
During the Super Bowl an advertisement aired from GoDaddy showing how they helped some lady named Gwen quit her job by helping her build a website and giving her free air-time to tell her boss that she quit her job and is now building puppets for ever. Gwen seems like a very sweet-hearted person, and evidently her former boss was totally down with how she went about things. However, if I’m Gwen I’m watching my back…not because of her former employers but because of GoDaddy. Why? In short…these guys SUCK!
Last month Bubbleblabber actually tried transferring our hosting service from Hostgator to GoDaddy in hopes of better meeting our crazy growing traffic (to which we love you guys for), but overall GoDaddy’s customer service sucked dick. You call someone, they sell you, take your money, then make YOU do all the work in transferring servers. Need technical support? Good fucking luck! Seriously, I put in a ticket on a Sunday for assistance with a matter after we originally transferred, and I didn’t hear back until Thursday. Because of that and after reading a whole bunch of other horror stories with GoDaddy on their Facebook page, we wisely went back to Hostgator.
Don’t worry, we are continuing to assess the best situation for us in terms of our growth and whatnot, but if I had a stern warning for anyone out there starting a site OR trying to start a business like Gwen, heed our warning…GoDaddy sucks.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
